EPA New Proposition
I am glad the government is finally making some progress on the issue of air pollution. I feel that it would be ridiculous to ignore the problem. However, the Republicans and oil companies remain stubborn on the issue. They claim that it would be too expensive to put money into alternative energy sources. I believe that is an excuse to keep their huge profits of oil. These people get too greedy and they ignore what is really important. The survival of our planet depends on these few people to make changes. The majority of the citizens, at least in the US, will not take the initiative to change their energy consumption habits. So, therefore, people who have to power to make change should use it. The EPA has worked hard for the environment but it takes everyone to carry it out. Currently, the plans seem sellable to Congress. But, I believe that to have an energy revolution, we must make drastic changes and goals.
